passing it to son). when i bought the car it had 25500k on the clock. it now has just under 42000k. the reason for selling the car is i have recently moved much closer to my work place, so i commute on bike now. plus when my partner is home we have a vw camper which we enjoy at weekends. the car has been very reliable to me and my partner. we do like to travel,so this car has seen most main citys in uk without any problems. i would drive the car anywhere.last weekend we have just done a round trip of 160 miles to liverpool airport without problem. the car was also valeted inside while near the airport. first the round up of the car: woman owner daewoo lanos se 1.4 front electric windows cd/amp sub/rear speakers from previous owner. alloy wheels 42k miles with mots from 2005 and some reciepts of work done(september mot 2005/2006 showing milage of 7023 miles) taxed untill 31-10-2010 which will stay with the car mot untill november 8th 2010. points to mention: as in picture front driver wing is dented. this is from the previous owner who told me they came back to there car to find a muddy foot print and a damaged wing. there is a few bumps/scrapes and scratches from parking including a cracked number plate surround. i will upload more pictures of the negatives. untill early this year i did smoke. so there is a burn to the drivers seat and on the inside of the front doors. also a small rip in the back of the passengers seat from carrying a shelving unit. last mot has advisory for rustedmetal brake pipe. finally there is a humming noise coming from what i think is the front exhaust system. i am not 100% sure on this. but i do know it drives fine with no loss of power. all in all a good daily/first driver car which has served me well and i am sure will serve somebody else too. i will start the auction at 400pounds. with no reserve. which i think is a good start for a 2002 car with 42k on the clock, with mots to back it up. please understand i will be putting an advert in the window of the car. and if time i will place adverts in the local supermarkets. so although i like to let the auction run. i reserve the right to end the auction. please only genuine bidders. check where i am located. there is oxenholme station near and i can collect the winner from there no problem. i am a genuine ebayer and as stated the car has a few knocks bumps, but i would happily drive it to dover! payment- please no paypal for this auction. i would prefer cash on collection. if any possible bidder is worried about this, we can happily meet at my local bank. where we can even fill out the v5. thanks, gosh.c X

2. The Daewoo Matiz unfortunately developed a starting problem last Tuesday 24/08/10. This has now been inspected by a mechanic, who has told me that it could possibly be a head gasket problem, but has not had the head off and therefore I do NOT know if there is a problem with the cylinder head itself. 3. The MOT expired on 25/08/2010, but I decided not to renew this as we have our other vehicle. The car has been a reliable run about up until this episode. I am putting a realistically low reserve on it, as I realise this will require some TLC. The car is sold as seen and I will NOT accept any returns. X

Sept 2003 registration (53), 52500 miles with full service history (5 Chevrolet (Daewoo) stamps), 1 independent, 1 Toyota. Car is 1.4 petrol, 5-speed manual. Serviced 17/08/2010 (including full air-conditioning service and anti-bacterial treatment), has FULL MOT, taxed until 31st August this year. Timing belt was replaced at 31,573 miles in July 2007 (due every 4 years / 40,000 miles). Drives very well, engine and gearbox both fine, no advisories from the MOT. Tyres showing 4mm front and 5/6mm rear (legal limit - 1.6mm). Being nearly 7 years old the car has collected a few marks, most noticeably two dents on the bonnet (flying deer!), some small dents on the nearside rear door (A good dent repair would easily rectify most of these) and some marking to the nearside front door, which are best described as a series of small scratches. Other than that there is a scuff on the offside rear bumper and a couple of minor marks elsewhere. Front wheels are kerbed in several places, but the overall appearance is good. I am happy to take more pictures if required. The airbag warning light is also currently illuminated, most likely cause is a poor connection under one of the front seats, however most garages should be able to diagnose and rectify the problem. I would advise anyone interested in the car to view first and then bid, it`s an honest little car owned from day one by my father in law. Please ask me anything else you would like to know and if you would like more pictures I can provide them. The car must sell, hence no reserve, however I will only take payment in the form of cash, sorry.
